The governing documents are the Memorandum and Articles of Association and membership rules.
The trustees are the Board of Directors of the Charity. They are principally responsible for the governance of the Charity. The LEAF Board meets at six times a year and is made up of the Chairman: Stephen Fell and eight other Board members who are representatives from the food, farming and environment industry and our members.
Baroness Byford is the LEAF President and once a year we hold the Presidents Event, where our members come together to discuss LEAF’s work and meet with key representatives in the industry.
LEAF is based at its office in Stoneleigh Park with a committed team, directed by its Chief Executive Caroline Drummond.
LEAF works with farmers and organisations from around the world and is a founding member of the European Initiative for Sustainable Development in Agriculture (EISA).
