The Jordans Farm Partnership

The Jordans Farm Partnership is a new and unique collaboration between LEAF, The Wildlife Trusts, Jordans Cereals and The Prince's Countryside Fund to promote sustainable farming practice and address rural development issues.

This is the first time we have worked together and the Partnership brings together an innovative blend of expertise to benefit the British countryside. Together, we will create a new model for UK farm sustainability and set high standards for nature-friendly farming.

Five farms are currently piloting the scheme and later this year the scheme will be rolled out across all 42 Jordans farms. They will undertake a wide variety of measures, including becoming LEAF Marque certified, to protect water and soil, building on their longstanding commitment to support wildlife on at least 10% of their land. Together, the farms in the Partnership manage over 44,500 acres of land.  Ten percent of this area will continue to be managed to provide food for farmland birds, pollen and nectar for bees, butterflies and pollinating insects; sustaining landscape-scale wildlife corridors with dedicated habitats, such as ponds andhedgerow highways, for species of significance in the local area.
